Environmental Testing
Corrosion and SST Testing
EMC Testing and Compliance LLP can perform corrosion and salt spray testing as per various global standards. Corrosion testing is performed to evaluate the resistance of metallic and non-metallic materials to environmental conditions such as humidity, temperature, and salt spray. Salt spray testing is a type of corrosion testing that evaluates the resistance of materials to salt-laden environments. Get accurate Environmental Testing Services in Gurgaon with EMC lab. We provide a wide range of reliable environmental testing services that enable our customers to make informed decisions.EMC Testing and Compliance LLP has the capability to conduct corrosion and salt spray testing as per various international standards, including ASTM B117, ASTM G85, ISO 9227, ISO 9223, and many more. The tests are conducted in environmental chambers that simulate the corrosive environment and the samples are evaluated for signs of corrosion, such as rust, discoloration, or other changes. The results of these tests provide valuable information about the durability and quality of materials, which can be used to improve product design and performance.
Vibration Testing
EMC Testing and Compliance LLP can perform vibration testing as part of its testing services. Vibration testing is a common type of environmental testing that is used to determine the ability of a product or material to withstand mechanical vibrations. The testing can help determine a product's durability and reliability in various environments, such as transportation or industrial applications. Vibration testing can be performed on a wide range of products, from small electronic components to large machinery and vehicles. EMC Testing and Compliance LLP uses industry-standard testing equipment and procedures to ensure accurate and reliable results.
Some of the standards covered by our facility includes JIS D1601, JIS D5500, IEC 60068-2, IS 9000 MIL-STD-810, ISO 16750, JSS 55555 and many others.
Ingress Protection Test (IP Testing)
Ingress Protection (IP) testing determines the degree of protection provided by an enclosure or housing against solids and liquids entering the product. IP testing is performed according to the IEC 60529 standard, which specifies the test procedures and requirements for each IP rating.
The IP rating consists of two digits. The first digit indicates the level of protection against solids, while the second digit indicates the level of protection against liquids. The higher the number, the greater the level of protection.
An IP rating of IP68, which is the highest level, indicates complete protection against dust and protection against long-term immersion in water under pressure.
EMC Testing and Compliance LLP has the facility to perform Ingress Protection testing up to IP68. This testing can be very important for products that are exposed to harsh environments or are used in applications where they are likely to be exposed to dust, water, or other environmental hazards.
JSS 55555
It is a military standard in India that specifies the environmental test methods and procedures for testing various defence equipment and systems. It covers a wide range of tests, including mechanical, climatic and chemical tests. The standard includes requirements for testing under high and low temperatures, humidity, vibration, shock, and other environmental factors to ensure the reliability and durability of the equipment. It is an important standard that ensures the quality and performance of defence equipment and helps in their development and deployment.Accelerated Aging Test
We have the capability to perform Accelerated Aging Testing in addition to other environmental testing. Accelerated Aging Test is a valuable tool for predicting the lifespan and durability of a product or material. By subjecting the product or material to elevated levels of temperature and humidity over an extended period, it is possible to simulate the effects of long-term use and aging.
The standards covered by our facility, including IEC 60068-2, IS 9000, MIL-STD-810, ISO 16750, JSS 55555, and many more, are essential for testing. IEC 60068-2 outlines environmental testing procedures for electronic equipment. IS 9000 specifies quality management systems for organizations in various industries, and MIL-STD-810 covers environmental engineering considerations for military systems. ISO 16750 is a standard that covers environmental conditions and testing for electrical and electronic equipment in road vehicles, and JSS 55555 is used for environmental testing of electronic equipment in the Indian Defense industry.
Accelerated Aging Testing can be a crucial component of testing, and our facility's capability to perform this test is an asset to ensure that products and materials meet the required standards for durability and lifespan.
